Liposuction for Glendale, Arizona
Let me be straight with you before you read any further: we are in Mesa, at 1910 S. Stapley Drive, and that is a real drive from Glendale. Forty-five minutes to an hour depending on the 101 and the time of day. You are crossing the entire valley to get here.
There are closer options. Arrowhead, Peoria and the 59th Avenue corridor have no shortage of places advertising body contouring. So the only honest way to write this page is to tell you how to evaluate all of them, including us, and let you decide whether the drive is worth it.
Three questions to ask anyone in the West Valley — and us
One: who actually performs the procedure, and will I meet them before the day of surgery? At a lot of clinics the consultation is with a patient coordinator whose job is closing, and the procedure is delegated. You should know the answer before you put down a deposit, not after.
Two: is this surgery or is it a device? A great deal of what gets marketed as body contouring in this valley is non-surgical — freezing, radiofrequency, ultrasound, injectable deoxycholic acid. Some of those have a legitimate place. None of them is liposuction, and the results are not in the same category. If you walk in asking about liposuction and get steered toward a package of device sessions, understand that you are being sold a different product.
Three: will they tell me no? Ask directly what would disqualify you. A practice that cannot name a single reason it would turn you away is not assessing you. It is booking you.
If a Glendale practice answers those three well, see them. Seriously. I would rather you get good care close to home than make a bad drive. The Glendale patients who do come to us are generally the ones who asked those questions somewhere closer and did not like the answers.
What you are driving for
I do your consultation and I do your procedure. Same person, both times. Twenty-plus years of doing this, and I am the one you will be looking at on the day.
The other reason is that weight and contour are handled in the same office by the same physician. Most places do one or the other. That matters more than it sounds like, because the order of operations is usually the whole ballgame.
Lose the weight first. Then shape what is left.
Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something. It removes stubborn subcutaneous fat that diet and training will not touch. It does not fix a metabolic problem, it does not remove visceral fat from behind the abdominal wall, and it does not tighten loose skin.
So if there is meaningful weight to lose, we do that first, medically and safely, and then contour what remains. If you have already lost weight on a GLP-1 medication and you are left with areas that will not move, you are exactly who this procedure was designed for — that is the most common path our surgical patients take. Our medical weight loss program is where that begins.
What we do
Power-assisted liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, back, arms, thighs and chin. Fat transfer, which uses your own fat to restore volume where you want it rather than discarding it. Full body contouring combining both.
Pricing is discussed at your consultation, once we know what you actually need. We do not quote a body over the phone.
How Glendale patients actually work with us
Because of the distance, we keep the trips few and make them count.
- Consultation in Mesa. Free. I examine you and give you a straight answer on candidacy, including when the answer is not yet, or not this. Call ahead and we will try to put you in a window that does not fight the 101.
- Procedure day in Mesa. Arrange a ride — you will not be driving yourself back across the valley — and plan a light day after.
- Post-operative follow-up. The early checks are in person because I want to see how you are healing myself. Later checks can often be handled over video.
- Weight management and labs. If you are doing that side with us, labs are drawn near you in the West Valley and most reviews happen over video. That part does not require the drive.
Se habla español
Glendale has a large Spanish-speaking community and very few practices that handle surgical consultation properly in Spanish — not through a family member translating, not through a staff member doing their best. We do it in the office and in writing. Vea esta página en español.
The next step
The consultation is free and it is a real consultation. You will leave knowing whether this is right for your body, what it would involve and what it would cost — or knowing why it is the wrong move for you right now, which is worth the drive by itself.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure. Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. Not everyone is a candidate. All surgery carries risk, which we discuss in detail at your consultation. This page is general information, not medical advice.
